Bravely Momma

September 6, 2018

If you've been apart of my blog family for a while, you'll notice the blog has a new name.

It just didn't feel right having it be a self-named blog now that its found a new voice. It didn't seem like it portrayed the important message I want to send to all of my readers.

Part of my blogging charm, if you want to put it that way, is that I'm honest. I'm candid, I talk about the hard stuff, I try to find the silver linings... and I truly believe you can heal through words.

My new vision for this blog is to build a community of moms that speak their truth. For this blog to become a place of healing and inspiration. For us all to cheer for each other when things are really great, and empathize when things are freaking tough.

I know most women don't feel comfortable sharing their feelings. This blog is for those women, too. You don't have to share, you don't have to comment. But you are completely welcome here. This is a safe space for everyone.

Along with the new name and new vision, I want to start incorporating guest writers. Just everyday mommas with a love for writing, and a passion for speaking their truth. Even if it's just a whim, writing about something you're going through. Or writing about how you found hope in a hard situation. And not just about motherhood. Trying to conceive, pregnancy, making mom friends, mom guilt... and everything between. If you're interested, comment below and we can connect.

Most importantly, I want the overall tone of this blog to be empowerment.

I don't consider myself a feminist, not in the way "the world" would define it today. But I am all about women supporting and uplifting other women. I am all about self love, self respect, and finding inner strength. This is what I want to be pouring out in this blog.

I can't wait to build this momma community with you ❤

Go Bravely, Mommas.
